Where our Life begin

Saturday morning I packed my car for my first destination wedding of 2017, being a Gauteng Wedding Photographer, I just love getting out of the big city. My assistant, Jemma, arrived and so snacks and kit ready we left for the small town Bela Bela. 

It's not far from Pretoria, but so worth the drive and to drive at out gorgeous B&B, Klip and Kristal, we knew we were in a friendly and happy town. From there we traveled to Klein Kariba to find our very excited and almost to calm bride, Lelanie! And boy o boy did the venue exceed all my expectations! There was the most beautiful trees and open fields and even the bridal suite was so perfect for the photos. 

There is a charming chapel, hidden in the fields, with animals roaming around, we even got to meet some of them and they are not camera shy! Lelanie had everything planned out and no detail was left to chance, every bridesmaid and groomsmen were kit up with a goody bad and even the groom had his to make sure that everything is picture perfect for their special day. 

I recall meeting Lelanie and Jaco the first time in Pretoria and even after our first phone call I knew we would have a awesome day together. They told me about how outgoing the groomsmen were and what they loved about the venue. I could see her face light up when she spoke about her dress and even on Saturday she could not stop shining after she put it on! 

Jaco had tears in his eyes after seeing his lovely bride for the first time, I must admit, moments like that is the best to me! This is what made their day special, their love for each other, at that moment it didn't matter that there were so many people or that I was snapping away, for them it was to take each others hand and know that from that moment on, that the other one would always be there. 

During the rest of the day both Jemma and I had so much fun with Lelanie and Jaco and wish we had another 2 hours for portraits as they really rocked it and were game for anything!Thank you so much guys as this gave us some real unique couple portraits that only your venue could give.
